We recently tipped you off about the upcoming MichaelÂ Jordan Hall of Fame Tribute Series created by Shepard Fairey and Upper Deck. Now the final two images have been revealed.Â The first is of his Hall of Fame induction portrait andÂ secondÂ of his “Air-ness” in his UNC blue days. The first release is the complete set (signed by both Jordan and Shepard) available on ObeyGiant.com tomorrow, Sept 17th. Check out the latest Shepard Fairey x Upper Deck collaboration of the king of hoops: Michael Jordan. Shepard is picking up where he left off last year with hisÂ Purple/GoldÂ Kobe Bryant “MVP” print. For the Shepard Fairey completest geek in all of us, a new bit of imagery can be added to our growing knowledge collection.Â The source photograph (with added blue background) has been revealed by barackobama.com. The photograph was given to Fairey by the campaign to use in the Vote poster, so fortunately, no lawsuits this time. How do you feel Shepard Fairey did with the source?Â Discuss here.

Just as Shepard Fairey resolved his legal troubles in Boston, it appears the his case with the AP has taken an interesting turn. Mannie Garcia, the original photographer of the infamous Obama image used by Fairey now appears to want a piece of the action. Shepard Fairey Works a Plea in Boston

After a five month ordeal with Boston authorities, Shepard Faireyâ€™s latest drama has finally come to an end. Shepard, who was arrested on January 22 at the ICA (reported), was initially charged with over 30 counts of vandalism, tagging and destruction of property. Between April and June, the courts threw out over 21 of the charges against Shepard. This past Friday, Fairey consented to a plea deal that will dismiss the remaining 11 vandalism charges. Shepard Fairey Helps Restore Italy with SMS Venice

It appears Swoon wasn’t the only artist in Venice recently.Â Shepard Fairey and his boys were also spotted spending a few weeks to “restore Venice.” The purpose of their visit wasn’t to vacation in the grand canals of Venice, but to create works for the SMS Venice Foundation. The works were donated by Shepard to promote the preservation of artistic and architectural heritage of the historic city of Venice. More after the jump.
