Pejac For Sushisamba Restaurant (London)

We recently received these exclusive shots of Pejac working on an indoor mural in London. Six months after the initial announcement, Jeremy Geddes decided to go ahead with a new timed release for the Hypostasis print. Made after an original painting that was shown at the Juxtapoz Magazine 20th anniversary show (covered), as a part of his Cosmonaut series, the image is a sequel or a revisited version of his iconic Red Cosmonaut piece. Previews: Nate Frizzell – “Dark Was The Night” @ CHG Circa

This Saturday night in Los Angeles, Nate Frizzell (interviewed) will be presenting all new paintings at CHG Circa entitled Dark Was The Night. Working primarily with a black background, the new perspective referenced in the title of the show provides a stark new background that really make his imagery pop. The fresh pieces will continue to feature his portraiture of children and different wild creatures as well as his familiar exploration of identity thru the use of costumes. Acclaimed Cuban-American artist, Jorge Rodriguez Gerada has released a truly historic hand finished etching print (limited to 200) based on his iconic Terrestrial Portrait, Out of Many, One, that took The National Mall by storm this past October. The original work commissioned by The Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery was a land portrait composed of dozens of American men (of many nationalities) constructed on Americas most treasured plot of land.
