Only a month ahead of the 17th edition of Nuart Festival in Stavanger, the Nuart team announced their latest public art project – Nuart RAD (River Arts District), which kicked off in Oslo last week with Isaac Cordal. Nuart Festival just announced the continuation of their series of curated Street Art buses (covered), as part of their on-going project to establish Stavanger as the world’s first ‘Art City’. The latest addition to the fleet of a local bus company Kolumbus has been designed by the M-City. Aside from turning the standard public bus into a three-dimensional, mobile artwork, the Polish artist created an engaged and provocative piece by painting a raft full of people on the side of it. As we previously mentioned, Stavanger’s legendary street art festival, Nuart Festival recently joined forces with Aberdeen Inspired and the Aberdeen City Council to organize the first edition of the festival outside of Norway. Nuart Aberdeen will be held from Friday 14 – Sunday 16 April 2017 (Easter Weekend), and we’re bringing you the final lineup of international artists.
