Project M/4 (Berlin) – Part I

As we mentioned last week, the Thinkspace Gallery curating a show entitled LAX / TXL as part of the fourth stage of a project by Urban Nation. Along with this group exhibition, some artists have been recruited to create 10×10 foot window murals including Alexis Diaz (aka La Pandilla) – seen above, Andrew Schoultz, C215, Curiot, Fernando Chamarelli, Glenn Barr, Joao Ruas, Low Bros, Nosego, Word To Mother, plus a massive full building mural from Dabs Myla. Nychos For Volvo Art Session

Volvo Art Session is live art project taking place in Zurich’s main railway station that finds “selected Swiss and international artists applying their creativity to a Volvo car” The organizers of the event invited Nychos as one of the artists for their fourth year of the event. Tonight in Northampton, Massachusetts, William Baczek Fine Arts will be opening a new show from Travis Louie (interviewed). The exhibition will see the New York-based artist returning to the site of his showing in the area in 2012, and will feature a new body of work collectively entitled Before They Became Heroes or Villains. Featuring his surreal band of misfits and monsters dressed in proper Victorian attire, the paintings are rendered in acrylic but amazingly look like vintage photos. Leading female street artists Miss Van and Olek recently opened their two-person show at StolenSpace Gallery in London (previewed  here).  Based on their strong friendship and artistic sisterhood, both show their mutual appreciation for each other work .
