David Flores and Shepard Fairey (featured) continue to go big as they have now collaborated on a new piece standing in the midst of Downtown Los Angeles. Covering an entire wall, the mural is a combination of Flores’ unique design on one side and on the other, Fairey’s black and white iconography. Over the past few months, the two artists have continued their prolific pace, much of which we have captured including Flores’ rendition of Phil Stern’s James Dean photograph and his reworking of a […]

Last week, AM stopped by the Lazarides (Rathbone Place) gallery space in London as the Faile Collective (featured) unveiled a new body of work. Fragments of Faile included some strong new mixed block pieces that fans of the Patricks have been accustomed to, but what they had been keeping under wraps until shortly before the opening was a new direction in their creative output. The main floor housed novel portraiture work from the Brooklyn-based duo that featured a more painterly technique fused with textile patterns […]

Now comes this insightful video as the Philadelphia-based artist talks about his beginnings and his love for “advertisement,” albeit stripped of its commercial aspect and replaced by emotional content, and diverted to shed light on […]
