Four graffiti & street art artists from around Europe were recently invited to Krakow, Poland to work on a project named Boom Apartments. Sainer from the Etam Cru, Nawer from Poland, Moneyless from Italy, and Zoer & Velvet from France, got an apartment each to work on setting up. From painting indoor murals, to picking and arranging furniture, and designing the interior, each artist had an opportunity to turn each of the spaces into a unique work of art. Ernest Zacharevic recently did a month long art residency in Ipoh, Malaysia. During his stay in town, the Lithuanian born artist created several beautiful murals blending his works with old, worn out walls. With the new work, he focused on local people and their way of life, most noticeable in the Never Mine piece. Painted with black paint only and featuring the local landscape with people working in the fields, this effort was accepted extremely well by the locals. A few months after taking part in POW WOW Hawaii (covered) and putting on a solo show during Armory week in NYC (covered), Know Hope has finished another interesting project during his residency at Mission To Art in Turn, Italy. After visiting South hemisphere (covered), Phlegm is back in Europe and back to painting more exceptional murals. Recently he visited Sweden, and took part in the ongoing Artscape festival happening in Malmö. As previously announced, Mexican artist Favio Martinez aka Curiot, opened his first solo show in his hometown of Mexico City at Fifty24Mx Gallery on the 14th of June. Titled La Creacion de Nirak’tuh,this show is probably one of the strongest and most elaborate he has worked on. Faith47 is self releasing a collectible series of intimate books and screen prints. The first set is scheduled to be available for the solstice on 21st of June at via her new online store. The The Hidden Years zine is the first of the series, signed and numbered in an edition of 100, and includes a compilation of sketches from 2013 & 2014.
