Last night, New Image Art gallery unveiled the latest work by Australian artist Anthony Lister (interviewed). On February 17th and 18th, the street art duo known as Herakut will join forces with the incredible Lucent Dossier crew for a performance which will combine the talents of all the artists involved. Book Signing: 3D Art Book Signing @ Chateau Marmont

Late last month, four members of the arts community came together at the Chateau Marmont for a special book signing event featuring 3D Art Book. Tristan Eaton, Shepard Fairey, James Jean, and Gary Baseman were in attendance to sign the book for both fans of the book and of their work. Curated by Eaton, the publication also includes work by other artists such as Mark Ryden, Stephen Bliss and Ron English. Keeping up with yet another mural going up across the streets of Los Angeles, we caught up with MSK/AWR graffiti writer RIME as he was putting up his signature character design in the arts complex overseen by Warren Brand. Video Release Party: Mark Whalen & Autolux @ Launch LA

During the weekend, Launch LA hosted a music video release party that featured an incredible collaboration by artist Mark Whalen and the music group Autolux. Directed by Thomas McMahan, the music video, which was shown on a large screen through out the night, features Whalen’s work come to life accentuated by a great song performed by the band.
