Releases: Kaws x Uniqlo Collection

Recently, Nigo announced that KAWS will be designing Uniqlo’s UT line for spring. The new collection, scheduled to be on sale April 22nd, will consist of 12 T-shirts with the Brooklyn-based artist’s imagery. By the first look, they are everything KAWS fans would hope for. The Companions, X’s, gloves, eyes and Chums, all rendered with the American artist’s recognizable line work, have found their way on to the backs and fronts of the tees. From 11th of March until 16th of April, BQ gallery in Berlin will be showing a solo exhibition by David Shrigley. Song For The Rat includes a series of signature drawings, as well as a single neon work, similar to the ones he did before for his two prior shows with the gallery. Previously seen as an ink drawing and oil on canvas piece, the “Labyrinth” image from Rustam Qbic recently took form as a large mural in Kiev, Ukraine, officially marking the beginning of the Art United Us project. Less than one year after their debut show SWIM 1 (covered), curators Yarrow Slaps from San Francisco and Auguste Somers of Los Angeles opened the next edition of their successful group show on March 18th.
