An interesting article came out last week talking about how Banksy’s work from Santa’s Ghetto in Israel had become a tourist attraction. However, some of his work was lost in translation when seen from the eyes of the people living there. Preview: Know Hope @ Ad Hoc Art

Fresh off his debut solo show at Anno Domini in October, Tel Aviv street artist Know Hope has another show coming up at Ad Hoc Art on January 16th entitled “The Insecurities of Time.” His characteristic collaged works will be on display – usually multimedia pieces including cardboard, watercolor, oil, paper and string. His body of work usually centers around an unnamed figure and the struggles and fragility of life. More images after the jump.

As previously mentioned (here), Manifest Hope will be making a pop-up gallery stop in Washington D.C. the weekend preceding the Presidential Inauguration: January 17th-19th. David Choe “Choegal” Signing

AM stopped by yesterday at GR2 for the signing and release of David Choe’s “Choegal” toy. Many fans braved the cold weather and some lined up for over an hour to get their figure as well the poster of the current Giant Robot magazine cover signed.  More photos after the jump.
