Yesterday, Tristan Eaton revealed a project he has been working on getting started for the past five years – a plan to paint the Red Sands Sea Forts off the coast of the UK along with Shepard Fairey, Futura, How & Nosm, and The London Police. One month since his series of works were revealed in Jungle refugee camp in Calais, Banksy just created a new piece in London. Discovered earlier today on the French embassy, the stenciled image features a girl from Les Misérables, tearing up as CS gas flows over her. This wall, which includes a French flag and the iconic girl from the famous musical, comments on the events from the 5th and 6th of January when French authorities used tear gas, rubber bullets and concussion grenades while attempting to clean up a section of the camp. Releases: Futura x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II collection

Starting next month, the Futura Chuck Taylor All Star II collection from Converse will be releasing at specialty retailers, Converse stores and online at Converse.com. This project with the NY graffiti legend will be the first artist collaboration with the redesigned Chuck Taylor All Star from the American shoe company. Gris1, a member of the infamous DMV crew from France, recently opened his Mixité Sociale solo at Galerie Artistik Rezo in Paris on the 13th of January. The show includes an elaborate installation created in the gallery space, along with several large canvases, ink drawings on paper, and limited edition lithographs. On January 14th, Galerie Le Feuvre in Paris opened the 3rd edition of the annual Paper Party group show. Their first exhibition of the year features the same concept they started a few years ago, showing five artists represented by the gallery – Mist, Paul Insect, Ella & Pitr, Pixel Pancho and Daniel Muñoz – San.
