Openings: Tim Biskup – “I Hate Everyone But You” @ De La Barracuda

Friday night saw the opening of Tim Biskups’ “I Hate Everyone But You” exhibition (previewed) in Melrose at De La Barracuda. Featuring paintings, sculptures, prints, and toys from the creator of the Helper, the comprehensive show was enjoyed by all. Along with Biskup, his friend Matt Goldman aka MFG also displayed some of prints. More pics afte the jump…

Preview: Tim Biskup – “I Hate Everyone But You” @ Barracuda

Perhaps inspired by the recent Astro Boy movie, Tim Biskup has painted the robot hero in his signature multi-faceted style for his show “I Hate Everyone But You” opening tomorrow night at De La Barracuda. Biskup’s first show in LA since 2007 will be somewhat of an retrospective but also include new pieces like the one above and a “Darth Vader” piece seen after the jump. Also making an appearance will be multiple sculptural pieces as well as prints from his friend Matt Goldman (from MFG).

AM enjoyed the screening of the art film “Scribble.08” and coinciding art show alongside artists James Jean (interviewed), Tim Biskup, Jeff Soto (interviewed), Bwana Spoons, Mari Inukai and the rest of the crowd held at Wonderhaus during Comic-Con 2009.
