On July 30th, Josh Keyes (interviewed) will be returning to the Antler Gallery in Portland for another showing (see 2014). If this glimpse into the new body of work is any indication, the locally-based artist has further refined his new aesthetic that takes his imagery all the way to the edge of the panels he paints on. This new 12 x 18″ piece is entitled Quake, and has us excited to see the fresh set of works when the exhibition opens. Discuss Josh Keyes here.

Jan Kalab is a Czech artist that was one of the pioneers of graffiti in his homeland. As a founder of the DSK crew, his career stretched from Prague’s train yards to painting whole cars in NYC in 2000. What started out as a sunny Saturday morning eventually turned into nearly five spotty days of thunderstorms, coastline flash flooding and Maya Hayuk relentlessly riding out the storm in pursuit of her craft. We just received these photos of new works by Pejac created few days ago in Hong Kong. The artist who is known for his witty concepts recently spent a few days in a former British colony leaving several diverse works throughout the city. One of the London’s living street art legends and nowadays accomplished painter known for his photorealistic oil paintings and graphite drawings, Lucas Price (featured) is releasing new limited editions soon. On the 29th of May, Montana Gallery Barcelona opened a two men show featuring works by Argentinian artists Elian and Pastel. Taking a painting from his show at Mary Boone Gallery last year (covered), Tomoo Gokita has brought the faceless beauty he created to life with the help of Case Studyo. Entitled A Bathing Beauty like the painting, the new bronze sculpture will be released tomorrow through their website in two colorways – white & black. Last week, JR (interviewed) completed the latest installment of his ongoing project The Wrinkles Of The City in Turkey. The series which has seen the French artist paste up large scale photographs of the older citizens of various cities has already taken him to Cartagena, Shanghai, Los Angeles, Cuba, and Berlin since 2008.
