The city of Charleroi in Belgium was the host for the first edition of the Asphalte Urban Art Biennial. Taking place from the beginning of May till the end of October, this event includes theatrical programming, dance and academic programs, concerts, as well as urban and street art projects. Although the first POW! WOW! event was held in Hong Kong, the last four years have seen the annual art gathering held in the tropical paradise of Hawaii (see this year’s coverage). Gamma Transport Division has been bringing a healthy mix of graffiti-based exhibitions over recent months to the city of Edinburgh. Their latest show features London-based artist O.Two, also known as James Carey.
